In March 2004 Father Devadoss received a contribution for an amount of 3.660 euro from Ananda Aalst. After exchanging this money in the local bank, he received a total amount of 193.429 Rupees.

Almost immediately after receiving these funds a meeting was called with the villagers and a committee was formed to execute the project.
This committee was composed of 10 people and was represented by the mayor of the village, the youth group and the self help group for women.
At the meeting it was decided that the local populace would also contribute 10.688 Rupees and provide help to execute the operations.

THE ENDRESULT OF THIS PROJECT IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING.

The water well is much better than was to be expected.

The inhabitants of Eravangudy and the surrounding villages are extremely happy with the accomplished work since they and their live stock can now enjoy this new water well intensely.

Ananda also received a complete and detailed financial report from Father Devadoss.

On Thursday night 20^th of august 2004 there was an official opening ceremony where the water well was inaugurated. The ceremony was attended by the local City Hall leaders.
